The Second Annual
50 Shades of Brown is an elevated celebration of Black culture, creativity, fashion, entrepreneurship, and entertainment. Guests will enter on the signature brown-and-chocolate carpet before enjoying food, live performances, a model runway, music, networking, and interactive experiences hosted by Minneapolis favorite Juice Sutton.
The evening will also feature The Brownprint Pitch Station, where selected business owners and entrepreneurs present their businesses or ideas for the opportunity to win cash, creative resources, and services designed to help them move forward. It's an unforgettable night where Black excellence is celebrated in every shade.

A celebration of style, confidence, body, hue, and personal expression. Watch models take the runway in curated looks that demonstrate just how many ways brown can make a statement.

The Brownprint Pitch Station
The Brownprint Pitch Station gives selected business owners and entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business, product, service, or early-stage idea in front of the room. Participants will deliver a concise live pitch and compete for cash, creative resources, and professional services that can help move their vision forward.

First Place
Take home $500 to invest directly into your business, idea, equipment, marketing, or next step.
Second Place
Receive a complimentary two-hour creative session at Studio 743. The winner may choose one of the following experiences: music recording, podcast recording, a professional photo shoot, or a Broadway FM/Mic Drop-style performance session.
Pitch participants must apply in advance. Finalists will receive the competition format, pitch length, judging criteria, eligibility requirements, and arrival instructions before the event.
Food & Hospitality
Enjoy food and drinks as you connect, celebrate, and experience the night. Final menu, vendors, drink options, and ticket inclusions will be announced.
